Overall qualification grades & grade calculation
To achieve the qualification and be awarded a grade, a student must pass all mandatory assessments.
Raw marks for each assessment are converted into a percentage mark and rounded to the nearest whole number. Each percentage mark is then weighted according to the assessment’s contribution to the qualification. Weighted percentages are combined to produce the overall qualification percentage.

Grade calculator
The AAT provides a grade calculator, accessible through the MyAAT portal, to help predict your final qualification grade.
Resits
You may resit any exam to improve your grade, although this will involve an extra cost. If a resit results in a lower percentage than your original attempt, your original pass mark will stand.
