Where is my nearest AAT approved exam centre?
As a distance learning student, you can complete all your studying from home. When it comes to sitting your exams, you have two options: you can either sit them at an AAT Approved Exam (Assessment) Centre or, for most exams, take them through remote invigilation.
Remote invigilation allows you to sit your exams online from home under secure conditions. However, please note that the Management Accounting Techniques unit at Level 3 must be taken at an exam centre.
There are over 250 AAT Approved Exam Centres across the UK, so you should be able to find one not too far from where you live. If you are based in the South West, you’re also welcome to sit your exams at one of our centres in Exeter, Falmouth, or Plymouth. You can search for your nearest exam centre using the ‘Find an Assessment Venue’ tool on the AAT website here.
If you are sitting a remotely invigilated exam, you can book your exams directly with us.
Are there set dates for exams?
There are no set dates for exams; the timing depends on the availability of your chosen AAT Approved Exam Centre. Some centres may offer exam sittings on weekdays, evenings, or weekends, while others might have more limited options.
If you are taking a remotely invigilated exam, you can sit it at any time of the day, including weekends, giving you maximum flexibility.
