I have recently completed my master’s degree in marketing from the University of Exeter and an undergraduate degree in English Literature. I chose marketing because it felt like the best way to experience the business world through a creative lens. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a company grow, reach more people and gain the visibility it deserves, and that is what continues to drive my passion for the field.
Moving to Exeter, UK last year was a decision I had been thinking about for a long time. It felt like a personal calling to step outside what was familiar, start a new chapter and give myself the opportunity to pursue something I genuinely wanted. Looking back, it has been one of the most life-changing decisions I’ve made.
I’ve always been a talkative person and a creative soul, and my love for the arts has been a big part of that. I’m a published poet, classical dancer and a theatre actor, and I think studying literature and being surrounded by the arts have shaped the way I see the world and, naturally, the way I approach my work.
Outside of work, I’m happiest with a nice cup of tea, good music, and a book after a long day. I’m naturally curious about people and love getting to know them, their stories, what makes them who they are and the little things that make them different. I’m also fascinated by psychology, history and architecture, and I love travelling, making friends and, of course, good food.
Ultimately, my biggest goal in life is quite simple: to experience as much as I can, achieve the dreams I’ve set my heart on and, through it all, be happy.
My Motto:
Hold on, when at the nadir, things can only get better.
