“When I left school, I went to Bicton College to study horse care but after a bad accident, I decided that this was not the path for me. I joined Exeter College and completed a Level 2 apprenticeship in Business Administration. This enabled me to secure a job at a local accountancy firm as a receptionist/administrator. However, I learnt early on that I wanted to be doing the ‘numbers’ side of things rather than just admin.”
In May 2018, Anna enrolled with us to start her AAT Level 3 (Assistant Accounting Apprenticeship). Given that she was brand new to finance, Anna started off with the AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping Certificate before moving onto Level 3. She completed her Level 3 Apprenticeship in July this year and has now progressed onto AAT Level 4 (Professional Accounting Technician Apprenticeship).
