I decided to start AAT about 4 years ago, I was in a dead-end job I did not enjoy, selling home insurance in a call centre. I didn’t know what I wanted to do but I’d always enjoyed maths at school, it was what I was good at. So I decided to self-fund my level 2 and 3 of AAT. Once I had completed those, I was able to get a job working in accounts for a local superyacht supplier. This new company funded my level 4 AAT, which I am delighted to have recently completed. AAT helped me learn so much, it helped me find a job in the field I wanted and will hopefully be the start of a successful career in accounting.
