Skills Bootcamps in Bookkeeping
& Digital Skills for Accountancy
Flexible, funded training designed to help you launch or grow your career in finance.
What is a Skills Bootcamp?
Skills Bootcamps are part of the Government’s Skills for Life programme — short, flexible training courses that help adults gain valuable skills for work and business.
Our 12-week Bookkeeping and Digital Skills for Accountancy Bootcamp is funded by Cornwall Council and open to Cornwall residents aged 19 and over. Designed to support self-employed individuals, small business owners, and those looking to start or progress a career in finance, it combines practical bookkeeping training, digital finance tools, and personalised one-to-one tutor support.
By the end of the Bootcamp, participants will have developed the skills and confidence to manage business finances effectively, use accounting software such as Xero, and take the next steps in their professional journey — whether that’s in self-employment, employment, or further study.
