Take your career to the next level with an AATQB Bookkeeping Bundle
These distance learning home study courses include the AAT Foundation (Level 2) Bookkeeping course AND the AAT Advanced (Level 3) Bookkeeping course – our AATQB Bookkeeping Bundle! It is designed to introduce you to manual double entry bookkeeping skills (including associated documents and processes), all the way through to the preparation of Final Accounts (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet) and VAT Return.
Up until 2016, to be able to ‘practice’, you had to complete the full AAT qualification up to Level 4, and apply to be a Member in Practice (MIP).
NOW, you can achieve an AAT Level 3 (Advanced) qualification which will allow you to practice as an AAT Qualified Bookkeeper – (and put AATQB after your name)!
We have a Special Offer on the AATQB Bookkeeping Bundle – enrol now, and you’ll save up to £108! Click HERE for more information.
Both courses are qualifications in their own right, so you will receive an AAT certificate upon successful completion of each course.
The Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping course includes the following units:
- Bookkeeping Transactions (BTRN)
- Bookkeeping Controls (BKCL)
The Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping course includes the following units:
- Advanced Bookkeeping (AVBK)
- Final Accounts Preparation (FAPR)

Both courses are qualifications in their own right, so you will receive an AAT certificate upon successful completion of each course. Once you have achieved the Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping you can apply to become an AAT Licensed Bookkeeper to offer self-employed services in the UK, regulated and supported by the AAT, including: Bookkeeping, Financial accounts and accounts preparation for sole traders, VAT and computerised accounting systems.
