AAT Level 4 TransitionAL Course

Would you like to be one of the first to achieve the AAT Level 4 Q2022 Qualification?

Why not get the best of both worlds (AQ2016 and the Q2022 Syllabus) by choosing our “AAT Level 4 TransitionAL” course option?

With our AAT TransitionalAL course, you don’t need to wait until September to get started. Our TransitionAL course will enable you to enrol on both; the current (AQ2016) Syllabus and the new Syllabus (Q2022) which will arrive in September. You will study some units now on AQ2016, (the ones that you will get exemptions from on the new syllabus) and then continue with the new units on Q2022.

If you change your mind, then don’t worry! You have the option to stay on the AQ2016 Syllabus if you wish to (the AQ2016 Syllabus expires on 30th September 2023)

Level 4 TransitionAL course outline:

Don’t forget, the transitional options at each level are really flexible. For example, at Level 4 you could look at the following selections.

Option one:
AQ2016 units Q2022 units TransitionAL units
Financial Statements of Limited Companies Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements Financial Statements of Limited Companies
Management Accounting: Budgeting Applied Management Accounting Management Accounting: Budgeting
Management Accounting: Decision and Control Management Accounting: Decision and Control
The new Management account paper is a “biggie”- covering 120 guided learning hours. The two AQ2016 GLH are 60 and 90 respectively. It is your choice which you prefer – one big one or two smaller ones.
Professional Synoptic (inc Acc Systems & Controls) Internal Accounting Systems and Controls Internal Accounting Systems and Controls

And then the two optional papers.

The new Management account paper is a “biggie”- covering 120 guided learning hours. The two AQ2016 GLH are 60 and 90 respectively. It is your choice which you prefer – one big one or two smaller ones. However, if transitioned to Q2022, passes in the two AQ2016 papers carry over a mark of 70% to the one Q2022 paper.

You may therefore prefer Option two:
AQ2016 Units Q22 Units TransitionAL units

Management Accounting: Budgeting Applied Management Accounting Management Accounting: Budgeting
Management Accounting: Decision and Control Management Accounting: Decision and Control

And then the two optional papers.

or Option three:

Support Available and Pricing

We have three different course packages to suit all needs and budgets.

You can choose from:

Studying via our Self-Study EXTRA package means that you will have full access to all of our learning materials. Our resources include Progress Tests, Practice Assessments and Mock Exams, which you will be expected to complete during your course. Don’t panic though, as we will provide you with all the answers so that you can mark your own work.

If you get stuck along the way though e.g. with a topic or study task, the only thing you will not be able to do, is ask a tutor to help you with it! However, the good news is that you can upgrade to a tutor supported package at any time, as needed.

Students enrolled on our Tutor Supported package are assigned with a dedicated personal tutor. Your personal tutor is there to help, guide and coach you during your course, and… you can contact them as many times as you like. Your personal tutor will also contact you on a regular basis to help ensure you keep on track (and nag you if necessary!)

Your personal tutor will also mark and provide feedback on all the Progress Tests and Practice Assessments you submit to them – this is a vital aspect of the course as it will help both you and us determine when you are ready to start sitting your exams.

Tutor Supported PLUS is an ‘all inclusive’ package. So, in addition to the course materials and unlimited tutor support, this package includes all the extra costs, such as AAT admission fees, exam fees and exam invigilation (administration) fees.

On top of that, we have a PASS PLUS GUARANTEE for all our Tutor Supported PLUS students – with our exceptionally high pass rates, it is highly unlikely that you would need to re-sit an exam, but just in case you don’t pass first time, we’ll cover all the costs for you! (Terms and conditions apply.)
