Charlie is a brilliant student; she is well respected in the office and always receives positive feedback from her line manager. Charlie is very organised and committed not only to the AAT studies but to all aspects of the apprenticeship. All exams to date have been passed first time with results above 90%, including 93% in FAPS, 91% in TPFB and 93% in MATS. Reflection journals are completed to a consistently high standard, with Charlie demonstrating a strong understanding of how to reflect by fully considering all aspects of the KSBs and collecting high-quality, well-matched evidence. She has achieved 20% above the minimum expected hours and maintains 100% attendance at remote catch-up sessions, always arriving well prepared and organised to discuss the plans for the day. Part way through her apprenticeship Charlie was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a course of radiotherapy, all while continuing her AAT studies. Despite facing significant personal challenges, Charlie has made remarkable progress. Charlie showed exceptional organisation and resilience by planning her study schedule around hospital appointments. She took a short break in learning to focus on recovery, but upon returning, she continued to attend treatment sessions while preparing for her MATS assessments, a true testament to her determination and strength. I am genuinely impressed by Charlie’s positive attitude and unwavering dedication to her studies. For these reasons, I am proud to nominate Charlie for Star Student. Her planned completion date is the end of this year, after which she will progress to Level 4.
