Originally from the wilds of the North Devon countryside, I joined in Accountancy Learning in April 2015. After earning my degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from Bristol University in 2012, I worked as a veterinary receptionist and even completed a charity skydive. I then spent a year in Australia; experiencing the good weather, wonderful wildlife and the secrets of Ramsey Street.
One of my roles in the office is to help manage our apprenticeships – both for students and employers. I am involved in the Apprenticeship Talent Programme and attend careers fairs where I enjoy supporting keen school leavers into the first steps of their career.
I also help with the company finances, something I couldn’t do without studying for my AAT qualification! I will soon complete my AAT Level 2 and will then progress onto the AAT Level 3 Diploma. My experience in studying AAT has enabled me to help advise many of our students and enquirers.
My other office roles include learner support, understanding funding, tea and cake making, constant desk tidying and cuddling Boris the cat.
